2024-2027
The primary goal of DeployAI, funded under the Digital Europe Programme, is to build, deploy, and launch a fully operational AI-on-Demand platform (AIOD) that promotes trustworthy, ethical, and transparent European AI solutions for use in the industry, mainly for SMEs, and in the public sector. The project aims to bring the fragmented European AI landscape together on one platform that enables collaboration and matchmaking and makes AI services, resources, and tools easily accessible in one place.
Before 2026, AIOD had two gateways: one to the industry side, developed and managed by DeployAI, and the other to the research side, developed and managed by another EU-funded project, AI4Europe. When AI4Europe ended in 2025, DeployAI took over the whole platform.
Backed by a €28 million funding from the European Commission, this initiative signifies a collaborative effort to shape the future of AI deployment in Europe. The consortium has 27 partners from 13 countries.
