Structure of the Workshop
The workshop will be held in parallel to the morning session of the CKIR workshop on August 26th. Duration of this event is 2 hours (from 10:00 to 12:00).
The session is split in 3 different parts: Policy (60 minutes), Best Practices (30 minutes) and Network Implementation (30 minutes):
1. Policy (60 minutes. 4 presentations and 10 minutes for questions-discussion)
- Helsinki (presentation). Mr. Pekka Sauri (tbc)
- Lisbon (presentation). Prof. Graça Fonseca (tbc)
- Digital Agenda – the view from the regions and cities. Mr. Markku Markkula (tbc)
- Digital Agenda – Smart Cities and Living Labs as key instruments to meet the objectives of the Digital Agenda. Mr. Jean-Pierre Euzen (tbc)
2. Best Practices (30 minutes. 2 presentations and 5 minutes for questions-discussion)
- ENoLL (presentation). Prof. Alvaro Oliveira
- AALTO University (Presentation). Prof. Petra Turkama
3. Network Implementation (30 minutes. 1 presentation and 15 minutes for open discussion and co-creation)
- Eero Holstila (Mr. Jarmo Eskelinen may present on Eero’s behalf) (Tbc)
4. Wrap-up
Some preliminary and input material to this workshop will be provided through an interesting presentation in the afternoon of the previous day (Thursday 25th) at the CKIR workshop:
- Smart Cities as implementation platforms (Dr. Alvaro de Oliveira, Visiting Professor, CKIR, Aalto University).
